Komi Chemistry Institute of Scientific Centre of Ural branch of Russian Academy of Sciences
Komi Chemistry Institute was founded in 1995 on the basis of Chemistry department organized within Komi branch of the Soviet Union Academy of Sciences.
The Institute structure consists of 6 laboratories for:
Organic synthesis and chemistry of natural products
Oxidizing process chemistry
Chemistry of plant polymers
Ceramic material science
Systems of ultra-fine particles
Physical and chemical research methods
The Institute carries out joint research work with Ural, Siberian and Far East departments of Russian Academy of Sciences, with the leading research centers and Universities of Russia. The Institute develops international scientific cooperation interacting with national Academies of Sciences and Research centers of near and far abroad: Belorussia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Italy. Research works of Institute members are supported with foreign grants and programs.
