Technology Design Institute “Gazproekt” is a resident of ‘Novoorlovskaya’ innovation SEZ, its subsidiary company “Gazproekt-diagnostics” is a resident of Skolkovo innovation center.
“Gazproekt” conducted in-line diagnostics for Gazprom, Rosenergoatom, St. Petersburg heating system, as well as for other organizations in more than 16 neighboring countries and beyond, in particular for Intergas Central Asia JSC (Kazakhstan), Beltransgaz JSC (Belarus), Gasum OY (Finland), etc.
Gazproekt specialists are constantly developing new scientific and technological solutions for in-line inspection. The company created a prototype model of the contact in-line flaw detector for pipe screening under the route conditions and is now developing two types of remote-controlled diagnostic systems for in-line inspection of heat pipelines, DN diameter 300 - 700 mm and 700 - 1400 mm.
As a result of the Institute’s research, a patent for "Method for measuring the thickness of the ferromagnetic object and the device for its realization" has been obtained. In addition, a patent for the invention "Means of pipe control, movable device used to utilize them, and the way to control pipes" is now being obtained.
In 2011 - 2012, Gazproekt plans to conduct five research and development works in the field of in-line inspection. The results of R&D activities are to be implemented for development and application of robotic tools for in-line inspection.
