Exhibition and Fair Events

Fair and congress activities of Krasnodar Region aim to promote economic development by creating favorable conditions for increasing competitiveness of goods and services of Kuban manufacturers and attract investment to the region.

The Administration of Krasnodar Region does not only participate in domestic and international exhibitions, but also organizes international exhibitions and economic forums both in Russia and abroad.

In recent years, exhibition and fair activities contributed significantly to the development of the region’s international relations. Germany, Italy, Japan, France, USA, Turkey, Cyprus, Singapore, Austria, Yugoslavia, Poland, Hungary and some other countries take active part in the regional events.

IDES

The IDES international industrial exhibition is a unique industry communication project, which covers the main areas of the region’s economy and brings together professionals.

The IDES exhibition comprises 7 specialized exhibitions:

• GAS RUSSIA – Gas Transportation, Storage and Distribution
• PETROLEUM – Petroleum Equipment and Equipment for Petrol Stations
• EPIS - Electric and Power Infrastructure of the South of Russia
• ECIS - Engineering and Construction Infrastructure of the South of Russia
• SIPS - South International Protection and Security Expo
• ECOS - Ecology Infrastructure of the South of Russia
• ICT - Telecommunications and IT-technologies

IDES industrial exhibition is a global industry event at which professionals can learn about the latest technological developments and completed projects, and take part in panel discussions on current issues. Each exhibition includes a comprehensive business programme - conferences, roundtables and presentations.

The importance of the event for the Krasnodar Region is confirmed by the active participation of government bodies in the organization of the IDES forum. Resorts and Tourism

The international tourism trade fair “Resorts and Tourism” is held with the support of the Federal Agency of Tourism, the Russian Union of Travel Industry, the Russian Hotel Association, the Administration of Krasnodar Region, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Krasnodar Region, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city of Sochi, the Municipal Administration of the city of Sochi.

Yugagro

The international agricultural exhibition YUGAGRO is held in a form of field demonstration of technologies and agricultural machinery. The demonstration features all categories of agricultural production facilities: from high-yield sorts of agricultures, efficient fertilizers and weed and pest killers to cultivation and harvesting machinery.

YUGAGRO covers all sectors of agriculture and is an effective platform for free competition of new technologies for agrarian branch of Russia. Such exposition sections as agricultural machinery and spare parts, plant growing, animal husbandry, storage and processing of agricultural production, standardization and metrology are presented at the exhibition.

In the framework of the business program the International Agrarian Congress takes place. The congress includes meetings on different branch issues and is intended for specialists and heads of agricultural enterprises of Russia.

International Investment Forum “Sochi-2011”

Investment Forum, which is taking place in the resort capital of Russia and the key city in one of the most attractive Russian regions for investors, is a very high status affair. Alongside the St. Petersburg forum and a number of others, it is counted among the most significant events for investors.

The organizing committee of the Sochi forum includes Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak and Elvira Nabiullina, Russia’s Minister for Economic Development.

Business programme of the Forum includes plenary sessions, conferences, briefings, round tables, presentations by the regions of the Russian Federation and corporate projects.
