Exhibition and Fair Events

Exhibition and fair events present the republic′s export, investment and innovation potential in the following spheres: metallurgy, metalworking, machine building, petrochemical complex, construction, housing and public utilities, woodworking, electric power industry, food, processing and light industries, agriculture, sports, tourism.

In March 2010, Coordination Board for Exhibition and Fair Activities was established in Udmurtiya.

The main exhibition ground of the region is the Exhibition Centre "Udmurtiya", which is the organizer of both Russian and international specialized and global exhibitions in Izhevsk, the capital of Udmurtiya.

City of the XXI Century

International Specialized Exhibition "City of the XXI century" first took place in 2000 under the auspices of RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Its participants are the enterprises from various regions of Russia and near abroad: manufacturers and suppliers of construction and finishing materials, developers and designers of new building technologies, furniture manufacturers, official dealers of the leading furniture plants, dealers and representatives of foreign companies willing to offer their competitive products and services to the interested experts, etc.

Petroleum. Gas. Chemistry
Machine Building. Metallurgy. Processing

The two exhibitions - Petroleum. Gas. Chemistry and Machine Building. Metallurgy. Processing – are held simultaneously. The main objective of the exhibitions is to display the achievements and capabilities of Udmurtiya enterprises, as well as those of other Russian regions and foreign countries, producing goods for industrial and fuel and energy complex.

About 100 Russian and foreign enterprises participate in these two exhibitions to present their new technologies, equipment and materials designed to be used in oil-and-gas industry, chemical industry, machine building, metallurgy and metalworking, casthouse production, power engineering and others. Matchmaking events are held together with the exhibitions to provide an opportunity for client companies and potential suppliers to negotiate on the terms of goods manufacture and delivery.

All-Russia Fair in Udmurtiya

All-Russia Fair in Udmurtiya is the only annual exhibition that enables display of goods by over 100 enterprises of various industries from more than 30 subjects of Russian Federation at one ground.

Wholesaler days and Matchmaking sessions have become a good tradition that gives wholesale and retailing trade companies of Udmurtiya a chance to study the products of manufacturers and suppliers from other regions in view to create extensive business relations and further long-term efficient cooperation.

Investment Forum

The objective of the Investment Forum is to develop business relationships and assist with investment attraction to the economy of Udmurtiya Republic. The forum is a ground for a constructive dialogue between Russian businessmen and government authorities.

The first investment forum took place in April 2007. Forum participants were 21 Russian regions, representatives of Russian ministries and departments, banks and investment and financial companies. 300 high-priority projects of Udmurtiya Republic were presented at the forum, the total investment needed for their implementation accounted for RUR 28 bln. Round tables with participation of the representatives of business community and officials were a part of forum’s business program.

The second investment forum “Udmurtiya – Priority Development Area” took place in May 2008 under the auspices of the Government of Udmurtiya Republic. Over a thousand of republican enterprises, researchers, businessmen, government authorities, and representatives of over 60 commercial banks and investment companies took part in the event.

Within the framework of the forum an exhibition of investment potential of Udmurtiya Republic was held with participation of 89 enterprises and all the municipalities of the Republic. 350 investment and innovation projects worth RUR 145 bln were presented at the exhibition.
