Priority Investment Projects

Principles of the Nizhny Novgorod Region investment policy stipulate the equal status of all investors regardless of their nationality or project size. Therefore, NNR laws do not provide for any benefits or support arrangements earmarked for foreign investors.

As cross-border investments are normally carried out by major internationally known companies investing on a large scale, they fall into the category of the Region’s priority projects, which enjoy substantial governmental support. Among the region’s major investors are such world-known companies Solvay, Ikea, Liebherr, Iveco, Knauf, Heineken, Metro Cash & Carry, Danfoss, etc. 35 major involving foreign investments are implemented in the region today.
