Exhibition and Fair Events

Nizhny Novgorod Region is a stable, dynamically developing region with well developed infrastructure and great industrial, economic and scientific potential. The region often participates in most important international events, exhibitions and seminars.

In 2009 Nizhny Novgorod Region took part in 11 foreign, 11 All-Russian and 11 Nizhny Novgorod exhibitions and forums. All these events promoted social and economic development of the region and became an efficient tool for presentation of the regional potential and increase of its competitiveness.

International IT forum 2020 / Information society

The congress events are dedicated to development of information society, use of information and telecommunication technologies for making living standards better and developing the regional public administration.

GREAT RIVERS / ICEF

This is the largest ecology event in Russia. The Forum is dedicated to ecology, hydrometeorological and energy safety. The Forum includes two parts: congress and exhibition.

Russian Architecture and Civil Engineering Forum

The business program of the Forum includes seminars and product presentations of participating companies. The exhibition part of the Forum traditionally demonstrates projects and technologies in the field of architecture, small housing, renovation and restoration, up-to-date materials for reconstruction and maintenance of residential buildings, landscape design and design solutions.

Russia United

The international scientific and industrial forum “Russia United” is one of the most significant and important projects for Nizhny Novgorod Region. It brings together federal and regional executive bodies, heads of research organizations and industrial manufactures, helps define the main trends and problems of high technology and high end industries. The Forum traditionally includes two parts: the congress part contains conferences, seminars, round table discussions, as well as project and program presentations. The exhibition part includes exhibitions of national and foreign producers and developers.

Nizhny Novgorod Innovations in the Regional Economy

The government of Nizhny Novgorod Region has chosen innovations as the priority economic trend. Research and technology potential of the region makes it possible to put into practice unique technology developments which are quite competitive in the world market. Some enterprises have international certificates for their innovation products.

The project called “Nizhny Novgorod Innovations in the Regional Economy” helps the regional government solve problems of innovation infrastructure. This exhibition supports developers, attracts attention of potential investors to high technology developments, promotes promising technologies in the national and foreign markets. Winners get the chance to participate in the Moscow International Show of Innovation and Investment, the international show of inventions, new technologies and products in Geneva, the world show of innovations, research and new technologies “Brussels-Innova/Eureka” (Belgium, Brussels).
