The Center collects, processes and analyses the scientific and technical documents – dissertations defended within the Republic, R&D reports, scientific and technical programs, deposited research works, publications of the Kazakh scientists.
The Center renders a wide range of information and analytical services, provides access to domestic and global scientific and technical information resources, conducts research and development aimed at improving the governmental system of scientific and technical information, carries out translation and publishing activities and provides information support for technology transfer process.
